This video constructs word-by-word a performance that recuperates the title and the two first sentences of Clarice Lispector ́s novel “The hour of the star” through hand-sewn balloons that inflates and deflates. This work is based on a first version of the project carried out in 2012 and entitled The hour of the star, which is based on the translation of the same text in its English version. A hora da estrela, derived from a larger series of works called “Tales and Other Nightmares” which appropriate the opening line of stories written by authors such as Camus, Kundera, and Duras.
