Videoinstalacion. La Restauradora (The Restorer) recreates the color palette that would have been used in the pictorial representation of some of the most significant changes in the 14th century to the present day at the coordinates 19 ° 26’07.0 “N 99 ° 07’55.2 “W, where the Cultural Center Seminario 12 is located in Mexico City. This work takes as a point of view the main doorway and considers the specific palette of each century, as well as the pigments existing at that time.
The video installation is completed by the piece Ocho Siglos (Eight Centuries), a set of objects, palettes, brushes, pigments and oils that were used in the recording of the video.

Installation that collects and illustrates the materials and pigments that would have been used from the 14th century to the 21st century to make a picture of the landscape that could be seen from the doorway of Seminario 12 in those centuries.
The piece is made up of the materials used during the recording: pre-Hispanic bowls, period palettes, brushes and pigments, paints and oils.
