DETALLES DEL PROYECTO

Engraving Sound is a sound installation that uses pickups to retain the sound of knocks, drops, and grooves on copper plates that have been molded using techniques such as photoengraving, etching, and drypoint techniques.

The system works on multiple channels and has six individual cone speakers to output each phase of the synthesis process.

In this installation, the audience can use the control panel and can modify the sound individually. To avoid saturation and sound clutter that might generate more extensive timbre capabilities, it is recommended a progressive exploration of each voice and its modulation.
